Dancing Ever After is proud to be offering classes in the artistic community of North Park in San Diego, CA since 2005.
 
After discovering a passion for the perfoming arts at a young age, artistic director Alison Dunn has continued her quest for the past 25 years. She is a professional entertainer working as a dancer, vocalist, actress, and choreographer.
 
Alison has danced professionally with San Diego modern dance companies, independent choreographers and as a triple threat in musical stage productions. Favorites include Chorus Line, Hair, Music Man and Hello Dolly. She has performed and presented her choreographic work in numerous festivals in New York City, such as the Artists of Tomorrow Festival, DanceNow Festival, Williamsburg Arts Nexus, and at the historic St. Mark's Church with the Danspace Project. Some local spots include Celebrate Dance Festival, Emerge Fest, and Sushi Performance and Visual Art.
 
Currently, Alison directs and manages Dizzy with a Dame, a jazz band and dance cabaret where she serves as a vocalist, choreographer,and dancer. In 2006, she started a San Diego based children's entertainment company, Birthday Ever After, where she brings fairytales to life every weekend.
 

As a dance educator for the past 10 years, Alison prides herself in teaching today's youth. She has been on the teaching staff at the Royal Academy of Dance, Dunn-Razo Dance (artistic director/master teacher), North County Dance Company (artistic director/master teacher) YMCA Academy of Dance (director) Neisha's Dance Academy, Shadowridge Dance Center, Dare to Dance, and Stage Door Dance
